White Tattoos – What the Heck?

I will admit I was scratching my head at this one and I still don’t quit get it. But apparently there is a new tattoo fad among us that I didn’t know about. It seems that white ink tattoos have become some sort overnight success and most have.

Tattoo Statistics

I thought it would be kind of neat to find out some statistics on tattoos. For instance, how many people have them, when people think it’s the right time to get one, if race and or region have anything to do with getting more or less tattoos and how tattoos have evolved from way back in the day.

Celebrity Tattoos – Megan Fox

The beautiful Transformers star is a avid tattoo lover and has several of her own. A lot of people may not understand her tattoos and I’ve read a lot of people think they are tacky.

Can’t Have Just One

So when people learn that I have tattoos they always ask me questions. Well one that I get a lot besides the ole “Did it hurt” question is, “Is it true that getting tattoos is addictive?” And my answer is always “Yes, they are additive”.

Tattoo Charity

When you think of charities you probably don’t even think about tattoos in the same sentence. Well I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to find out that this one tattoo parlor in Phoenix was holding a A 15-hour long fundraiser for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Make Sure You Can Cover Your Tattoo Up

One of the first things that I made sure of when I got my first tattoo is that I would be able to cover it up if it needed to be covered up. Of course whenever I wear a tank top and or low cut dress you can see my tattoo on my shoulder.

So You Want a Tattoo

So you have made the decision to get a tattoo, that is great, but there are a couple things you need to think about before you set off and get inked. The biggest decision you need to make is what kind of tattoo you are going to get.

Black Or Color Ink

You may not have even given this one a thought, should I have my tattoo done in black ink or color ink? Well of course that decision is up to you and what you want. But there are a few little things you should know before you make that decisions.

The Wonderful History of Tattoos

It is safe to say that nearly 50% of people from the age of 18 to 35 have at least one tattoo. So one might think were did tattoos come from and how long have they been around.

What Influenced You to Get a Tattoo

I thought I would go in a different direction today, with my post. I think it is pretty safe to say that we all remember the instant that we decided we wanted to get a tattoo, of course some are a lot sooner than others. I for one had my mind made up when I was 8 years old, that when I turned 18, I was going to a tattoo no matter what.

Talk to People About Tattoos

One of my favorite things to do is to talk to people who already have tattoos and learn about their experience. I also like to hear any funny stories they might have to share as well as some piece of information that I may not have known. Just yesterday I was talking to one of my sister’s friends that has a tattoo on her toe and I actually learned something.

Spell Check Before You Ink

In today’s tattoo news I heard that a tattoo parlor is getting sued for the second time for misspelling someone’s tattoo. This leads me to the utmost important thing you need to do before your tattoo artist’s even starts that tattoo gun.
